TPCA produced more Peugeots for the firefighters
TPCA handed over six Peugeot 107 cars with fire equipment to Central Bohemia firefighters. Last year the car factory had equipped Kolín firefighters with twenty Peugeots and dedicated one to the station in Ovčáry. As of today, the HZS Central Bohemia Region uses a total of 27 “107" in special red and white versions.
The small economical cars will be used primarily for trips on inspections when assessing the safety of new buildings and for preventive services. Fires can be extinguished using a Mercedes Atego fire truck for 9.5 million crowns which was given by TPCA to Kolín firefighters four years ago.
Today's handover continues the long-term cooperation between TPCA and Fire Rescue. The car manufacturing company also contributes to fire station equipment in Ovčáry and supports its operation.
