TPCA appoints new president
Effective from July 1, 2006, the management of TPCA will be changed. Mr. Satoshi Takae is leaving the president position and will be replaced by Mr. Yasuhiro Takahashi.
Mr. Satoshi Takae, a graduated engineer, leaves TPCA after more than three years. Firstly he joined the company to take the role of the vice-president in charge of production, where he supervised development and installation of production technologies, as well as the successful launch of production. Since July 2005, he has been appointed as the company’s president responsible for reaching full production capacity of the plant scheduled for the beginning of the year 2006. After successfully completing the mission with TPCA, Mr. Satoshi Takae returns to the parent company - Toyota Motor Corporation.
Since finishing his university studies, Mr. Yasuhiro Takahashi has been employed with Toyota Motor Corporation in Takaoka, Japan, where he was in charge of various administration job roles. In the year 1990, he became the vice-president of Toyota’s Motor Worker union; from the year 2003, he was the general manager of the Administration department in Takaoka Plant. Mr. Yasuhiro Takahashi is married and has three sons. His hobbies include sports, traveling, classical music and arts.
