TPCA appoints new vice-president
Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech (TPCA) has appointed Mr. Nicolas Guibert Executive Vice-President effective January 1, 2006. Mr. Guibert will replace Mr. Jean-Pierre Chantossel and assume his duties at the joint manufacturing venture between Toyota Motor Corp. and PSA Peugeot Citroën. Mr. Guibert will report to TPCA President Satoshi Takae. Mr. Chantossel, who has occupied the post of TPCA executive vice-president since 2003, will assume the position of director of final assembly at PSA Peugeot Citroën’s Sochaux plant in France.
Mr. Guibert – who has a degree in mechanical engineering - has been with PSA Peugeot Citroën for 16 years. With a focus on car body production, Mr. Guibert has occupied the positions of Bodyshop Production Manager at PSA Peugeot Citroën’s Buenos Aires, Argentina, plant and Industrial Manager of the company’s Los Andes, Chile, plant. Most recently, Mr. Guibert was Production Manager of PSA Peugeot Citroën’s axle production plant in Mulhouse, France.
