The annual production capacity of TPCA will be 300,000 vehicles, including 200,000 for Peugeot and Citroën and 100,000 for Toyota.
This project will mean the creation of thousands of direct and indirect jobs for local development. To this day 1,500 employees have already been hired for TPCA and in September 2005, there will be 1,500 more jobs leading to a total of 3,000 people employed by this factory. The total investment costs including the costs of research and development of cars and the construction of the factory plant are estimated at 1.5 billion euro.
