The Kolín car manufacturer, TPCA, published a poll on its website for the grant program www.partnerstviprokolinsko.cz, in which employees and the public can choose the best project of this year’s grant program and influence the selection of sponsored projects. The poll, located directly on the main page under the calendar of events, includes a total of 18 projects. These are applications which received the highest number of points in the first round of evaluation. Of these, the grant committee composed of representatives from the carmaker will select projects that they will sponsor. Among the best it will divide four million crowns, the same as last year.

Each voter has only one vote, and therefore must choose a plan that is, in his opinion, the best and most consistent with the needs of the region. The last question serves for the identification of the voter. It tells the Grant Committee which project is supported by employees and which is supported by the Kolín public. The poll will run until June 8th.

104 applications for more than 37.5 million crowns were sent to the grant program. The greatest interest was the priority of mutual coexistence. 57 applications came for this priority. The second most popular priority was the environment with 30 applications and safe transport actually covered a total of 17 project proposals. The awards ceremony associated with handing over checks will take place on Wednesday June 22nd at TPCA.
