TPCA offer programs for students
TPCA started selection of students of Czech universities for professional internships. TPCA has been collaborating with schools and their students systematically since 2007. In the recent three years, 22 young students, mostly technicians, passed their internships in the plant in Kolín. 17 other students wrote their theses in cooperation with TPCA’s engineers.
„For this year, we have announced 15 topics for theses,“ says Radek Vošta, TPCA’s personal director. „However, our cooperation with schools is not limited to internships and diploma theses. We also organize commented tours in the plant for senior pupils of elementary schools,“ Radek Vošta added as to what concerns the offer for schools. Furthermore, TPCA closely cooperates with high schools across the region. For example, the carmaker prepared a project of education plan innovations with the high engineering school of Kolín and the project succeeded in applying for subsidies from EU funds.
TPCA also supports technical education by financial means. Through its TPCA Partnership for Kolín Region grant programme, it donated over two million koruna in support of equipment of technical schools of the region. As a member of the Czech Automotive Industry Association, the company initiated launch of an internet site promoting technical majors at Auta nás baví.cz.
